Gay friendly Baytown church gets the axe in Texas
Texas: The Southern Baptists of Texas Convention executive board voted unanimously to “disaffiliate” the Faith Harbor church in Baytown, finding that the church violated a constitutional provision preventing churches from supporting or endorsing homosexual behavior.

I know people have thier own personal views & convictions when it comes to religion - but, I don't understand why any gay person would want to belong to a organization that despizes and basically - tho they won't say the word(hates) them....join the UCC if you feel you need a religion in your life.
