Footballers Wives goes gay with Noah Alexander storyline
On February 25, BBC America will premiere the third season of Footballers Wives and there's all sorts of drama to look forward to, including a gay storyline. Towards the end of the season, Noah Alexander, the first gay player on the Sparks team, is publicly outed when Tanya hires a male escort and captures him with the rental unit on a surveillance camera. Season Four, which premieres in April as BBC America does a rush job of bringing us up to date, Noah comes out, is beaten by a gang of thugs, prevented from working with children, and ultimately winds up at "The Church of the Found" looking for a cure for his sexuality. Where will it go after that? I don't know. I'm just giving you the heads up so that we can all be on board with all the twists and turns that are sure to come. There's also a bisexual player named Conrad Gates who mixes it up with diva Tanya Turner in Season Three. Conrad and Noah have a bit of fling as well.
