Mailbag: We get letters

philo It's time for the Queer Day mailbag! I know you're excited, because I certainly am. We're going to skip right over the hate mail this time, although I can't resist quoting Milton who writes, "Stop teaching your trash to our kids... and leave your fagot discussions in YOUR home not ours! Your sick!" Milton's obviously in need of more than just spell check and a grammar class. Anyway, I'd also like to thank Jason for all of his thoughtful concern for where my soul will be spending the hereafter. Thanks kitten! Now on to more important things. A gay Muslim in need of your help writes:

"I am gay residing in the middle east of Indian origin trying to file a case against the people who are trying to hurt me, almost kill me. I need to get articles or stories against indian ( Muslim ) as I am one with abuses from police or any other person including community for being one for my case. Your help will be really appreciated."

I don't have the answers, but perhaps you, dear reader, have some information for him.

Phillip Miller writes quite regularly to complain about Logo and our lack of coverage of what's happening on Q Television. "Do you all have something against Q Television? They are much better than Logo rerun movies." Phillip, I have nothing against Q Television. I've written about them numerous times. I am not, however, a subscriber, not can I afford to be right now, and there may be times I am less interested in things I know I will not be seeing. Beyond that, I wish Q Television all the luck in the world. Thanks for writing so many letters, now go bother someone else.

Meanwhile, Ted Trent of Out of the Closet TV wanted to say, "Great website you've got there." Thanks Ted. And to end things on a truly positive note, Ajax is "really impressed with what (we're) doing. Keep up the good work. I appreciate it." Timothy from Outsmart Magazine agrees: "I happened upon Queerday, thanks to a Google search on the two American dancers found dead in Canada. Great job on the blog. I will definitely return to Queerday." Thanks Ajax, Timothy, and to all of you who keep on writing with letters, news tips, story suggestions and more. While I can't always stay on top of all the mail, I truly love hearing from you.
