Gay pride grows in Roanoke

Virginia: Sixteen years ago a dozen people gathered in Roanoke's Elmwood Park for the first gay pride event there. On Sunday morning, approximately 2,500 turned out. "They said 'Are you crazy?'" Sam Garrison recounted. "That was then. Sixteen years later it's different."
