Gay Batman and Robin paintings result in lawsuit threat

robin and batman kissing The Kathleen Cullen Fine Art Gallery in Manhattan is being threatened with legal action over a watercolor exhibit featuring Batman and Robin in a gay tryst. D.C. Comics has sent a "cease and desist" letter over Mark Chamberlain's paintings, showing the dynamic duo in various states of undress. One shows them kissing. “DC Comics wants me to hand over all unsold work and invoices for the sold work,” gallery owner Cullen said. “I’ve spent the last two weeks of my life consulting lawyers.”
