Clear Channel's homophobia continues with billboard removal

come together Even though the Gay.com advertising campaign continues to offend us, something that offends us even more is the giant corporate evil that is Clear Channel. They're taking down one of the Come Together billboard ads today in Cambridge, Massachusetts, after receiving a measly five complaints. They couldn't even let it ride through to the scheduled removal date - tomorrow. ACLU attorney Sarah Wunsch said, ''It's pathetic that Clear Channel caved in with a complaint from the Article 8 Alliance. I consider them quite a fringe, on-the-edge kind of group."
