Montreal gay parade on at night a hit
Montreal:Thousands lined René-Lévesque Boulevard to catch the gay parade, which began at 8 pm on Monday night - a change from the usual daytime, weekend parade. The schedule change was intended "to stir participation, to stir creativity, and I think it's working," said Suzanne Girard, director and founder.
