Cambodian lesbian teen Yeat Kunthea kills grandmother for love
In Phnom Penh, Cambodian teenage lesbian Yeat Kunthea, 18, bludgeoned her grandmother to death with a rock at the urging of her lesbian lover (Huong Leangcheng, 19). Grandma Lim Veng, 74, discovered their relationship and tried to put an end to it. Seng Sokim, vice chief of police in the northeastern province of Kompong Cham, said Veng's body was found in a rice field with severe head injuries.
Kunthea "confessed that she had killed her grandmother with a rock because the old lady had discovered she loved another girl and had forbidden them to be together, educated her that the relationship was wrong, and cursed her and her lover." Leangcheng said she would stop loving her if she didn't do it. Now Kunthea is facing twenty years and Leangcheng is missing.
