Gay marriage in Canada: Will the Queen save humanity?

queen elizabeth Queen Elizabeth II is being asked to intervene, in a collonial kind of way, to "save" Canada and all of humanity from same-sex marriage. David Mainse, the former 100 Huntley St. host, is leading a letter-writing campaign urging Her Majesty to refuse to grant royal assent once the bill is passed by the Canadian Parliament. The melodramatic factor at least adds some humor to it all: "Millions have nowhere else to turn but you...Please help humanity everywhere to begin a reversal of this morally and socially destructive trend..."
