Transamerica wins Best Feature at Frameline29
Frameline29, the world's largest and oldest Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender International Film Festival in San Francisco, announced their awards with Duncan Tucker's "Transamerica," starring Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman, pictured, capturing Best Feature. The film tells the tale of a transsexual who discovers a long-lost son arrested for prostitution. Sasha Aickin's "Blood, Sweat, and Glitter chronicling drag queens vying to become Miss Trannyshack 2004, was honored as Best Documentary. Frameline29 featured 266 films representing 33 countries.
