Gay marriage condemned again, this time by new pope

benedict Pope Benedict made his first official gay marriage condemnation pronouncement, and seeing as it is his first as Pope I thought I'd tell you about it. He actually condemned same-sex unions as "fake" and called gay weddings expressions of "anarchic freedom" that threatened the future of the family. Queer Day thinks a little more anarchic freedom in the world would be a good thing, and for those keeping score he didn't just condemn us. He also condemned divorce, artificial birth control, trial marriages and "free-style unions." (Thanks Carl)
