Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk supports gay marriage - on his blog

sihanouk Cambodia's now retired King Norodom Sihanouk, 82, wrote on his blog -"I thank you for insulting me." Sihanouk expressed his support for gay marriage and apparently not everybody was in agreement with him. He says, "My country, Cambodia, has chosen to be a liberal democracy since 1993. Every Cambodian ... including the King has the right to express freely their view." Sihanouk took on the French empire to win Cambodia's independence. During the Vietnam War he was ousted in a U.S.-supported coup. (Thanks Edna)
