Note to self: No flowers on Elton John's birthday cake
Gossipmonger Ted Casablanca shared the news that when a surprise birthday cake was delivered to Elton John, courtesy of some wealthy locals during a recent concert in Houston, the real surprise came for the deliveryman. Presenting a “beautiful baked creation with real lilacs on top” Elton's handler replied, “No flowers on the cake! He hates that!” What did the deliverman do? Rather than throw the cake in their face the dessert was returned to the bakery, repaired and then redelivered without the shrubbery.
