Jerry Falwell plans army to battle gays

falwell Oh dear lord. Evangelist Jerry Falwell is organizing battle plans for an "evangelical revolution." The televangelist claims last week's election shows that Americans want a return to "traditional values" and his Lynchburg, Virginia-based "army" would be a "21st century resurrection of the Moral Majority" - the organization he founded in 1979. Called the Faith and Values Coalition, Falwell said that it would lobby for conservatives to fill openings on the Supreme Court and lower courts and would push for a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage as well as the election of another "George Bush-type" conservative in 2008.
