Mianne Bagger looks good going into Italian women's event
So far so good for transsexual golfer Mianne Bagger. Recently admitted to the women's tour in Europe, Bagger shot a 3 under par toward qualifying for the Robe di Kappa Ladies' European Tour, made a fine start to her campaign yesterday by shooting a three-under-par 69 over the Metaponto course near Bari, Italy. If she finishes in the top 90, she'll move on to the finals. And finally newspapers are beginning to write about her golf game instead of her personal life.
