A New Mexico House committee approved a bill fixing a glitch in a gay rights law passed last year, restoring the requirement that the broad protections of the Human Rights Act apply to businesses with four or more workers. That part was mistakenly erased when the wrong version of last year’s bill was signed. The measure heads to the House floor, where it could be voted on, again, next week. KOBTV
